34,700 registered bed nights

In March 2019, 34,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ludvika (-8.4 %), of which 32,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (230 nights).

930 rooms (+32.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,100 rooms (-8.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 95,000 registered bed nights (-1.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,400 (-37.9 %) for foreigners in Ludvika, in total 100,000 (-4.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Ludvika, length of stay in March was on average 19 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-4.6 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ludvika on average 28 nights (-83.7 %) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-32.7 %).
