10,900 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 10,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Ludvika (-21.5 %), of which 10,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 22 percent from last year's April.

710 rooms (+10.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (-6.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 98,700 registered bed nights (-7.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,400 (+3.2 %) for foreigners in Ludvika, in total 106,000 (-7.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ludvika out of total registered bed nights was 0.9 % (+0.5 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 56 percent compared to earlier year. In Ludvika, length of stay in April was on average 4.2 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ludvika on average 4.2 nights (-28.2 %) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+19.2 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 78 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.9 percent were domestic, and 4.1 percent were from foreign countries.
