In September 2019, 32,000 bed nights were recorded in Luleå (-9.6 %), of which 27,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and foreign bed nights increased three percent. In total, bed nights decreased 10 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (830 nights).
6,600 rooms (+5.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 16,000 rooms (-1.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 284,000 bed nights (+8.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 134,000 (+2.4 %) for foreigners in Luleå, in total 419,000 (+6.4 %) nights.
