7,000 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 7,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Lycksele (-29.7 %), of which 6,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 62 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 30 percent from last year's September.

850 rooms (-8.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-28.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 70,600 registered bed nights (-31.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,000 (-90.3 %) for foreigners in Lycksele, in total 73,700 (-45.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Lycksele out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

3,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.9 percent were domestic, and 4.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Lycksele on average 2.3 nights (-0.05) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.36).
