4,700 registered bed nights

In December 2018, 4,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Maarianhamina (-0.4 %), of which 2,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 12 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's December.

3,500 nights (-10.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (+51.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 104,000 registered bed nights (+0.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 94,200 (-2.9 %) for foreigners in Maarianhamina, in total 198,000 (-1.4 %) registered nights.
