1,600 registered bed nights

In September 2021, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Mäntyharju (-11.0 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 63 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 470 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (36 nights).

1,400 nights (-17.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 168 nights (+154.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 17,700 registered bed nights (+11.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 500 for foreigners in Mäntyharju, in total 18,200 (+5.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.6 million registered bed nights (+29.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.4 million nights (+21.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 204,000 nights (+121.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mäntyharju out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

750 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.0 percent were domestic, and 2.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mäntyharju on average 2.1 nights (-0.23) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+3.0).
