Paid bed nights

4,500 registered bed nights

In March 2019, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Mariestad (-29.6 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 450 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 31 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 16 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 30 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (136 nights).

1,000 rooms (-14.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (-12.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 10,100 registered bed nights (-17.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (-17.2 %) for foreigners in Mariestad, in total 11,400 (-17.7 %) registered nights.
