Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 82 percent
In May 2022, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (+81.5 %), of which 4,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 76 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 540 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 82 percent from last year's May.
450 rooms (+82.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+150.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 10,100 registered bed nights (+73.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 330 (+394.0 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 10,400 (+77.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

2,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 99 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.3 percent were domestic, and 4.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.1 nights (-0.19) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.62).

Registered January-May sales were 5.2 million SEK and they increased 3.2 million SEK from the previous year.
