Registered bed nights increased 22 percent

In September 2021, 1,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (+21.5 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 80 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 21 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 22 percent from last year's September.

390 rooms (-36.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 720 rooms (+125.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 20,200 registered bed nights (+93.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (+61.9 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 21,200 (+91.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mark out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 64 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.4 percent were domestic, and 3.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 1.4 nights (-0.5) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.06).
