Registered bed nights increased 112 percent

In April 2021, 1,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (+112.5 %), of which 1,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 118 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 87 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 112 percent from last year's April.

78 rooms (-60.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 230 rooms (+43.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 3,200 registered bed nights (+33.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 35 (-86.7 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 3,300 (+21.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mark out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 113 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.6 percent were domestic, and 0.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.2 nights (+0.03) and foreigners 1.0 nights (-4.0).
