Paid bed nights

1,100 registered bed nights

In February 2023, 1,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (-10.7 %), of which 1,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 49 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 75 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's February.

133 rooms (+84.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 490 rooms (-24.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 2,300 registered bed nights (+14.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 77 (+83.3 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 2,300 (+15.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mark out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 35 percent compared to earlier year. In Mark, length of stay in February was on average 1.5 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 1.5 nights (-33.7 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+17.5 %).

700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 38 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.7 percent were domestic, and 3.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 1.5 nights (-0.86) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.66).
