1,200 registered bed nights (September)

In September 2018, 1,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (-40.2 %), of which 1,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 138 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 64 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 40 percent from last year's September.

440 rooms (-8.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 460 rooms (-10.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 16,000 registered bed nights (-36.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,700 (-60.4 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 18,700 (-41.5 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 1.4 nights in registered accommodation (September)

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Mark, length of stay in September was on average 1.4 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 1.4 nights (-3.5 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+11.9 %).

850 tourists arrived to registered accommodation (September)

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 24 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.4 percent were domestic, and 9.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 1.4 nights (-0.41) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-0.17).
