520 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 520 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (-42.4 %), of which 510 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 15 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 42 percent from last year's April.

196 rooms (-55.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 158 rooms (-49.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 260 for foreigners in Mark, in total 2,700 registered nights.

Length of stay increased 24 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 24 percent compared to earlier year. In Mark, length of stay in April was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.2 nights and foreigners 5.0 nights .

230 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 54 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.7 percent were domestic, and 1.3 percent were from foreign countries.
