Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 124 percent
In June 2021, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (+124.4 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 53 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 128 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 20 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 124 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (24 nights).
160 rooms (-64.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 290 rooms (+79.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 8,400 registered bed nights (+90.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 120 (-64.0 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 8,500 (+80.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay increased 14 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 14 percent compared to earlier year. In Mark, length of stay in June was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-5.5 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.3 nights (+20.0 %) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-19.1 %).
1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 97 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.8 percent were domestic, and 3.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.3 nights (+0.31) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-0.57).
