Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 101 percent

In June 2022, 5,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Mark (+100.8 %), of which 4,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 88 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 700 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 101 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (145 nights).

520 rooms (+227.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 570 rooms (+95.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 15,000 registered bed nights (+78.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 760 (+529.2 %) for foreigners in Mark, in total 15,700 (+84.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mark out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 2.0 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Mark, length of stay in June was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.0 nights (-10.8 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+25.8 %).

2,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 126 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.2 percent were domestic, and 7.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mark on average 2.0 nights (-0.29) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.64).
