Registered bed nights increased 48 percent
In September 2018, 3,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Mellerud (+47.5 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 830 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 69 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 48 percent from last year's September.
490 rooms (+331.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 460 rooms (+117.7 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay increased 117 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 117 percent compared to earlier year. In Mellerud, length of stay in September was on average 4.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mellerud on average 5.1 nights and foreigners 2.5 nights .
