In January 2022, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Mellerud (+1.1 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 167 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased six percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 120 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased one percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (87 nights).

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Mellerud, length of stay in January was on average 3.4 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-36.1 %).
