Midt-Telemark: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased four percent
In February 2022, 4,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Midt-Telemark (+3.6 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 52 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's February.
970 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights by business visitors.
Between January and February, 6,900 registered bed nights (+7.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 350 (-39.6 %) for foreigners in Midt-Telemark, in total 7,300 (+3.2 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.6 percent were domestic, and 9.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Midt-Telemark on average 6.4 nights (+0.48) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-0.73).
