2,800 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (-32.6 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 340 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 36 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 13 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 33 percent from last year's June.

610 rooms (+0.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (-44.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 10,700 registered bed nights (-34.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (+33.5 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 12,000 (-30.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mjölby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.9 percent were domestic, and 8.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mjölby on average 1.6 nights (+0.04) and foreigners 2.6 nights (+1.0).
