Mjölby: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 56 percent
In May 2022, 4,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (+55.9 %), of which 4,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 142 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 60 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 56 percent from last year's May.
830 rooms (+17.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+141.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 13,300 registered bed nights (+66.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 690 (+29.3 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 14,000 (+64.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 57 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.4 percent were domestic, and 1.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mjölby on average 1.5 nights (+0.01) and foreigners 3.2 nights (+0.04).
