2,600 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (-25.2 %), of which 2,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 127 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 36 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 25 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Bulgaria (60 nights).

580 rooms (-22.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-26.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 21,300 registered bed nights (-27.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,900 (-7.9 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 23,200 (-26.1 %) registered nights.

The market share of Mjölby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 22 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mjölby on average 1.3 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 4.4 nights (+2.6).
