Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 59 percent

In May 2021, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (+59.4 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 150 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 71 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 25 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 59 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Bulgaria (62 nights).

710 rooms (+133.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms (+26.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 8,000 registered bed nights (-3.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 530 (-41.4 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 8,500 (-7.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.
