Registered bed nights increased 74 percent
In April 2022, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (+73.5 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 71 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 114 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 74 percent from last year's April.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Romania (94 nights).
480 rooms (+29.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,800 rooms (+100.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 9,200 registered bed nights (+70.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 550 (+42.8 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 9,800 (+68.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 75 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.7 percent were domestic, and 2.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mjölby on average 1.3 nights (-0.05) and foreigners 4.7 nights (+2.2).
