Registered bed nights increased 33 percent
In June 2022, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Mjölby (+33.1 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 32 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 52 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 33 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (91 nights).
1,300 rooms (+46.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (+25.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 17,300 registered bed nights (+57.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 990 (+35.3 %) for foreigners in Mjölby, in total 18,300 (+55.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.5 percent were domestic, and 5.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mjölby on average 1.5 nights (-0.11) and foreigners 1.9 nights (+0.2).
