4,700 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 4,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Mölndal (-74.3 %), of which 4,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 66 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 74 percent from last year's June.

1,600 rooms (-77.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,000 rooms (-45.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 34,400 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,200 for foreigners in Mölndal, in total 39,600 registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mölndal out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 78 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.5 percent were domestic, and 3.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mölndal on average 1.8 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 3.1 nights (+1.5).
