Registered bed nights increased 76 percent

In January 2022, 7,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Mölndal (+75.8 %), of which 6,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 58 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 440 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 76 percent from last year's January.

2,600 rooms (+134.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,300 rooms (+39.6 %) by business visitors.

The market share of Mölndal out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Mölndal, length of stay in January was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-36.1 %).
