Registered bed nights increased 12 percent
In June 2019, 5,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Mönsterås (+12.1 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 940 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 12 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (620 nights).
94 rooms (+38.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 210 rooms (+42.6 %) by business visitors.

Length of stay increased 10 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Mönsterås, length of stay in June was on average 2.5 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mönsterås on average 2.6 nights and foreigners 2.2 nights .
