13,300 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 13,300 bed nights were recorded in Mora (-29.1 %), of which 12,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 760 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 26 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 56 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 29 percent from last year's March.

2,500 rooms (-40.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (-10.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 54,600 bed nights (-1.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,400 (+2.8 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 59,000 (-1.1 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total bed nights was 0.5 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

5,500 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 35 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 94.5 percent were domestic, and 5.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.4 nights (+0.17) and foreigners 2.5 nights (+0.45).
