Registered bed nights increased 50 percent

In January 2022, 19,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (+50.4 %), of which 17,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 42 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 310 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 50 percent from last year's January.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Netherlands (480 nights).

2,600 rooms (+0.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+99.0 %) by business visitors.

Market share 0.8 percent

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+6.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.0 million nights (-3.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (+108.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.8 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

9,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 67 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.5 percent were domestic, and 11.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.2 nights (-0.19) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.22).
