14,900 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 14,900 bed nights were recorded in Mora (-2.9 %), of which 13,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased one percent and foreign bed nights decreased 28 percent. In total, bed nights decreased three percent from last year's September.

2,700 rooms (-3.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+23.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 225,000 bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 58,700 (+5.9 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 284,000 (+7.2 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

8,100 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 87.5 percent were domestic, and 12.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 1.9 nights (-0.1) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.26).
