Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased four percent

In June 2019, 34,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (+3.8 %), of which 25,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased four percent. In total, registered bed nights increased four percent from last year's June.

4,400 rooms (+17.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+41.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 109,000 registered bed nights (+2.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,000 (+3.2 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 126,000 (+2.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

Length of stay was 2.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. In Mora, length of stay in June was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.1 nights (-0.4 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-2.5 %).

16,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.0 percent were domestic, and 28.0 percent were from foreign countries.
