14,000 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 14,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (-6.0 %), of which 12,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased three percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 28 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased six percent from last year's September.

3,100 rooms (+15.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 980 rooms (-37.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 188,000 registered bed nights (-16.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,000 (-82.9 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 198,000 (-30.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-20.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 436,000 nights (-62.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay was 1.8 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 47 percent compared to earlier year. In Mora, length of stay in September was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (+4.9 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 1.8 nights (-3.1 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-6.0 %).

7,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 78 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.3 percent were domestic, and 8.7 percent were from foreign countries.
