Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 30 percent

In April 2021, 10,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (+30.2 %), of which 10,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 310 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 131 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 30 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (56 nights).

1,200 rooms (+62.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+224.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 52,600 registered bed nights (-15.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,800 (-60.0 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 54,400 (-18.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 219,000 nights (+91.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 4.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 50 percent compared to earlier year. In Mora, length of stay in April was on average 4.1 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+1.3 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 4.2 nights (+12.3 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-25.7 %).

2,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 161 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 4.2 nights (-4.3) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-0.37).
