9,000 registered bed nights

In May 2021, 9,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (-1.2 %), of which 8,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 27 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (118 nights).

1,000 rooms (-15.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+274.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 61,200 registered bed nights (-14.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,300 (-54.1 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 63,400 (-16.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+44.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

4,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.2 percent were domestic, and 4.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.2 nights (-0.13) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-0.47).
