Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 80 percent

In June 2022, 39,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Mora (+79.6 %), of which 29,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 10,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 43 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 470 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 80 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (3,700 nights).

4,600 rooms (+96.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,800 rooms (+19.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 125,000 registered bed nights (+53.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 22,000 (+427.7 %) for foreigners in Mora, in total 147,000 (+71.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mora out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.7 %.

Length of stay was 2.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased seven percent compared to earlier year. In Mora, length of stay in June was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.1 nights (-20.9 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (+4.6 %).

19,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 94 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 71.5 percent were domestic, and 28.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mora on average 2.1 nights (-0.18) and foreigners 2.0 nights (+0.18).
