Registered bed nights increased 100 percent

In April 2021, 9,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Mörbylånga (+99.8 %), of which 8,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 102 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 71 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 100 percent from last year's April.

2,500 rooms (+93.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+64.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 17,600 registered bed nights (+27.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (+29.1 %) for foreigners in Mörbylånga, in total 18,700 (+27.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mörbylånga out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 124 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.8 percent were domestic, and 5.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mörbylånga on average 2.9 nights (-0.28) and foreigners 3.3 nights (-1.9).
