33,700 registered bed nights
In May 2022, 33,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Mörbylånga (-4.2 %), of which 30,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased four percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (980 nights).
6,100 rooms (+26.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+8.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 44,700 registered bed nights (-14.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,800 (+87.9 %) for foreigners in Mörbylånga, in total 48,400 (-10.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.4 percent were domestic, and 8.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mörbylånga on average 2.4 nights (-0.32) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.36).
