39,000 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 39,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Mörbylånga (-31.4 %), of which 38,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 770 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's June.

3,100 rooms (-47.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 620 rooms (-31.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 75,200 registered bed nights (-24.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,200 (-82.2 %) for foreigners in Mörbylånga, in total 77,400 (-30.6 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mörbylånga out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

14,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 34 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.7 percent were domestic, and 2.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mörbylånga on average 2.7 nights (+0.01) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.21).
