19,300 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 19,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Mörbylånga (-1.9 %), of which 17,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 22 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased two percent from last year's September.

3,500 rooms (+4.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 970 rooms (+11.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 280,000 registered bed nights (-9.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,200 (-81.5 %) for foreigners in Mörbylånga, in total 289,000 (-18.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-20.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 436,000 nights (-62.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mörbylånga out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.7 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased four percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. In Mörbylånga, length of stay in September was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (+4.9 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mörbylånga on average 2.4 nights (+6.0 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.9 %).

8,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.8 percent were domestic, and 8.2 percent were from foreign countries.
