1,500 registered bed nights

In February 2021, 1,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Moss Region (-71.3 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 46 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 70 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 86 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 71 percent from last year's February.

320 nights (-86.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,100 nights (-5.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 2,800 registered bed nights (-70.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 144 (-72.8 %) for foreigners in Moss Region, in total 3,000 (-70.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 923,000 registered bed nights (-58.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 836,000 nights (-46.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 87,600 nights (-86.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Moss Region out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 160 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 160 percent compared to earlier year. In Moss Region, length of stay in February was on average 3.4 nights and in Norway 2.6 nights (+31.2 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Moss Region on average 3.4 nights (+204.6 %) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+57.7 %).

430 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 89 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.5 percent were domestic, and 2.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Moss Region on average 3.4 nights (+2.1) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+1.8).
