12,300 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 12,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Motala (-41.4 %), of which 12,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 29 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 93 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 41 percent from last year's June.

1,000 rooms (-60.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 970 rooms (-42.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 29,200 registered bed nights (-21.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,400 (-80.2 %) for foreigners in Motala, in total 30,600 (-31.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Motala out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

4,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 47 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.5 percent were domestic, and 2.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Motala on average 2.5 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.0).
