Registered bed nights increased three percent
In March 2019, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Motala (+2.5 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's March.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (48 nights).

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Motala, length of stay in March was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-4.6 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Motala on average 2.6 nights (+19.2 %) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-41.3 %).
