Registered bed nights increased 93 percent

In May 2022, 4,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Mullsjö (+93.3 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 520 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 75 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 670 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 93 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (220 nights).

360 rooms (+220.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (+107.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 11,500 registered bed nights (+28.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (+901.8 %) for foreigners in Mullsjö, in total 13,200 (+43.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mullsjö out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 210 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.7 percent were domestic, and 9.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mullsjö on average 1.7 nights (-1.2) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.05).
