Mullsjö: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 48 percent
In August 2022, 9,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Mullsjö (+48.2 %), of which 6,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 29 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 160 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 48 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,100 nights).
1,000 rooms (+153.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,300 rooms (+12.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 34,600 registered bed nights (+40.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,800 (+300.2 %) for foreigners in Mullsjö, in total 43,400 (+61.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 46 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 73.3 percent were domestic, and 26.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mullsjö on average 2.3 nights (-0.09) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.58).
