Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In September 2019, 3,700 bed nights were recorded in Mullsjö (+19.1 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 600 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased seven percent and foreign bed nights increased 192 percent. In total, bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's September.

680 rooms (+41.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (-14.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 33,200 bed nights (+9.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,200 (+6.2 %) for foreigners in Mullsjö, in total 41,400 (+8.9 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Mullsjö out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,200 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 86.9 percent were domestic, and 13.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Mullsjö on average 1.7 nights (+0.14) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-0.48).
