Registered bed nights increased 32 percent
In April 2022, 2,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Munkedal (+32.0 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 490 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 210 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 32 percent from last year's April.
620 rooms (+16.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 580 rooms (+62.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 4,200 registered bed nights (+10.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,900 (+364.4 %) for foreigners in Munkedal, in total 6,100 (+45.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 14 percent compared to earlier year. In Munkedal, length of stay in April was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Munkedal on average 2.0 nights (+33.3 %) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-20.3 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 67.7 percent were domestic, and 32.3 percent were from foreign countries.
