Registered bed nights increased two percent
In March 2018, 18,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Muonio (+2.0 %), of which 5,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 12,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's March.
11,000 nights (+3.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 7,200 nights (+0.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 9,100 registered bed nights (-23.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 39,500 (-3.0 %) for foreigners in Muonio, in total 48,600 (-7.5 %) registered nights.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Muonio on average 3.1 nights (-16.9 %) and foreigners 4.7 nights (-4.1 %).
