Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased two percent

In February 2020, 24,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Nacka (+1.7 %), of which 21,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 12 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's February.

8,500 rooms (+1.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 7,100 rooms (-5.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 42,200 registered bed nights (+0.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,700 (+5.0 %) for foreigners in Nacka, in total 48,900 (+0.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (+3.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.5 million nights (+5.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 935,000 nights (-2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nacka out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

Length of stay increased 18 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 18 percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in February was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-3.1 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.6 nights (+21.8 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-4.2 %).

15,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.0 percent were domestic, and 12.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.6 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.13).
