Paid bed nights

7,500 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 7,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Nacka (-73.0 %), of which 7,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 580 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 68 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 91 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 73 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (310 nights).

3,300 rooms (-64.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-84.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 60,300 registered bed nights (-30.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,800 (-46.9 %) for foreigners in Nacka, in total 69,200 (-32.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nacka out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

Length of stay increased 20 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in April was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.8 nights (+22.8 %) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-7.9 %).

4,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 78 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.3 percent were domestic, and 8.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.8 nights (+0.44) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.63).
