Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 90 percent

In May 2021, 17,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Nacka (+90.3 %), of which 15,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 87 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 134 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 90 percent from last year's May.

7,500 rooms (+68.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,100 rooms (+172.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 60,500 registered bed nights (-11.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,200 (-55.3 %) for foreigners in Nacka, in total 64,700 (-17.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nacka out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

Length of stay was 1.4 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 18 percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in May was on average 1.4 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.3 nights (-19.1 %) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-17.7 %).

12,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 133 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.2 percent were domestic, and 6.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.3 nights (-0.34) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.16).
