Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 60 percent
In August 2021, 35,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Nacka (+60.2 %), of which 29,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 55 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 91 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 60 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,400 nights).
14,500 rooms (+43.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,500 rooms (+170.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 149,000 registered bed nights (+24.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,600 (+26.3 %) for foreigners in Nacka, in total 170,000 (+24.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in August was on average 1.5 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-3.6 %).
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.4 nights (-14.2 %) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+9.1 %).
23,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 77 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.9 percent were domestic, and 12.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.4 nights (-0.23) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.39).
