Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 62 percent

In January 2022, 14,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Nacka (+61.9 %), of which 13,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 60 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 92 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 62 percent from last year's January.

6,200 rooms (+39.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+246.7 %) by business visitors.

Total of 2.3 million registered bed nights (+4.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.9 million nights (-4.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 399,000 nights (+105.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nacka out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.7 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Nacka, length of stay in January was on average 1.3 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-36.1 %).

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.3 nights and foreigners 2.3 nights .

11,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 58 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.0 percent were domestic, and 5.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nacka on average 1.3 nights (+0.0) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.64).
