Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 13 percent

In March 2019, 3,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Nässjö (+13.0 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 560 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 13 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (93 nights).

690 rooms (+41.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,800 rooms (+25.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 7,000 registered bed nights (+2.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (-1.8 %) for foreigners in Nässjö, in total 8,300 (+1.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.5 million registered bed nights (-3.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.6 million nights (-1.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 888,000 nights (-12.6 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased six percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. In Nässjö, length of stay in March was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-4.6 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 1.9 nights (+6.1 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-10.2 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.1 percent were domestic, and 18.9 percent were from foreign countries.
