Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased one percent

In September 2019, 3,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Nässjö (+1.5 %), of which 2,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased one percent from last year's September.

1,100 rooms (+50.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+8.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 28,600 registered bed nights (+13.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,700 (+1.6 %) for foreigners in Nässjö, in total 37,300 (+10.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.5 million registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nässjö out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Nässjö, length of stay in September was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-1.3 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 1.7 nights (+8.3 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+6.2 %).

2,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 79.9 percent were domestic, and 20.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 1.7 nights (+0.03) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+0.47).
