Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 17 percent

In October 2019, 3,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Nässjö (+17.4 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 490 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (140 nights).

920 rooms (+51.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+7.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 31,700 registered bed nights (+13.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,100 (+2.0 %) for foreigners in Nässjö, in total 40,900 (+10.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nässjö out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 10 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Nässjö, length of stay in October was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-0.5 %).

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 1.7 nights (+7.9 %) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+7.4 %).

2,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.8 percent were domestic, and 13.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 1.7 nights (+0.09) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+0.46).
