Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 32 percent

In May 2021, 3,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Nässjö (+32.2 %), of which 3,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 140 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 36 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 20 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 32 percent from last year's May.

450 rooms (-37.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 910 rooms (+198.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 9,900 registered bed nights (+4.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 470 (-52.7 %) for foreigners in Nässjö, in total 10,400 (-1.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay increased eight percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Nässjö, length of stay in May was on average 2.8 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nässjö on average 2.7 nights (+18.4 %) and foreigners 7.4 nights (+297.2 %).

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.4 percent were domestic, and 1.6 percent were from foreign countries.
