Registered bed nights increased 81 percent

In September 2020, 4,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Nora (+81.1 %), of which 4,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 128 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 83 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 32 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 81 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (48 nights).

1,000 rooms (+170.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 570 rooms (-14.1 %) by business visitors.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Nora out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 48 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.2 percent were domestic, and 2.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nora on average 1.9 nights (+0.34) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.27).
