Registered bed nights increased 11 percent
In August 2022, 140,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Nord-Gudbrandsdal (+11.2 %), of which 80,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 58,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 137 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (15,500 nights).
46,300 nights (+2.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,000 nights (+20.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 332,000 registered bed nights (-27.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 202,000 (+377.2 %) for foreigners in Nord-Gudbrandsdal, in total 534,000 (+7.2 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 55.2 percent were domestic, and 44.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nord-Gudbrandsdal on average 1.7 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+0.05).
