Nordmaling: Tourism in a nutshell

In August 2022, 2,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Nordmaling (-61.8 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 640 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 66 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 48 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 62 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (240 nights).
240 rooms (+139.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 330 rooms (-30.3 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 48 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 61.2 percent were domestic, and 38.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nordmaling on average 2.2 nights (-0.67) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-0.59).
