Registered bed nights increased 32 percent (August 2021)

In August 2021, 5,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Nordmaling (+31.8 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 570 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 32 percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (530 nights).

100 rooms (+28.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 480 rooms (+213.1 %) by business visitors.

2,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation (August 2021)

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 35 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.0 percent were domestic, and 28.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nordmaling on average 2.9 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.3).
