Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 330 percent

In April 2021, 3,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Norefjell Region (+334.4 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 360 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 186 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 330 percent from last year's April.

16,400 nights (-35.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 640 nights (+10.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 26,800 registered bed nights (-12.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-96.4 %) for foreigners in Norefjell Region, in total 27,900 (-53.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 883,000 registered bed nights (+166.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 788,000 nights (+184.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 94,300 nights (+75.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Norefjell Region out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased 510 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 510 percent compared to earlier year. In Norefjell Region, length of stay in April was on average 19 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norefjell Region on average 18 nights (+39.9 %) and foreigners 26 nights (+109.1 %).

161 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 28 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.8 percent were domestic, and 6.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norefjell Region on average 18 nights (+15) and foreigners 26 nights (+21).
