Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 149 percent

In November 2021, 16,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Norefjell Region (+148.8 %), of which 15,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 390 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 146 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 320 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 149 percent from last year's November.

8,100 nights (+42.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,500 nights (+186.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 184,000 registered bed nights (+41.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,100 (-81.2 %) for foreigners in Norefjell Region, in total 190,000 (+16.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.8 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Norefjell Region out of total registered bed nights was 0.8 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased eight percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Norefjell Region, length of stay in November was on average 1.8 nights and in Norway 1.8 nights (-23.5 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norefjell Region on average 1.7 nights (+2.7 %) and foreigners 3.7 nights (-1.8 %).

9,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 130 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.9 percent were domestic, and 1.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norefjell Region on average 1.7 nights (+0.11) and foreigners 3.7 nights (+2.1).
